High Level Capacity
| Oil Export |
Oil export rate 20 mbd. 70% spare capacity Note - minor upgrades required to achieve 90+ mbd |
| Gas compression | To suit existing plant capacity |
| Gas Export | Export rate circ. 18 mmscfd at plateau. Currently using just 15% of this capacity |
| Gas lift | None installed |
| Produced Water Handling | Current facilities handle up to 282 mbd of water injection, of which 40 mbd is seawater. 100% usage anticipated for the foreseeable future. |
| Dehydration | To suit gas rates |
| H2S | Removal using zinc oxide bed |
| Water Injection | 282 mbd of water injection, limited by injection well capacity. Future scope to increase capacity if required. |
| Other information |
Crude oil is exported via pipeline to the BP Oil terminal at Hamble into oil storage and export by sea. Processed third party crude also imported by road tanker to Hamble for export with Wytch Farm Crude. The Wytch Farm & Wareham oil fields are connected via an infield flowline network to the Gathering Station. In addition, crude oil is also imported to the Gathering Station from the Kimmeridge oil field by tanker. These rates are currently low, but there are options to expand the existing facilities to handle a greater volume of tankers. Spare gas processing capacity is likely to be removed in 2015 due to HCFC (refrigerant) legislation |
