Dimlington
|
Dimlington was originally developed to receive gas from the Cleeton and Ravenspurn South field. In 1994 further expansion was carried out to receive and process gas from the Johnston Field. (Johnston field gas was initiallty below sales specification and therefore had to bad co-mingled with the higher quality fields) However, following updates from National Grid to the Newtwork Entry Agreement, the Terminal Wobbe was reduced from 48.1 to 47.5 bringing Johnston back within export specification. A Slica Gel Project Unit was also commissioned.
1999 saw the tie in of the then BG Operated 'ECA' fields (Neptune and Mercury) to Cleeton. In 2001 the Juno Project tied in the second phase of ECA fields (Minerva, Apollo, Whttle and Wollaston). Modifications were required at the terminatl and reboilers, a thermox Unit and nitrogen packages were instlalled.

The Dimlington Gas Terminal receives and processes dry gas, via a 36' gas pipeline from the following fields: Ravenspurn South, Cleeton, Neptune, Mercury, Whittle, Wollaston, Minerva, Apollo, Ravenspurn North and Johnston. During 2009 Dimlington will commence onshore compression of gas and will also see the start of deliveries from the West Sole and Amethyst areas which previously went to the Easington terminals.
